 Saturday June 15

 COMMUNITY FUN RUN  / 8:30 am / Heritage Park FREE

Start the week-long celebration with a non-competitive, self-timed, community walk/run on a beautiful course. Enjoy our standard 5K and 1-mile courses and a fun new lap run format (Speedway Tracks) for kids 12 and under. The top 3 male and female finishers for each course will receive awards. All participants may enter an A la Carte Raffle for prizes. Liability forms are available online. Check in well before 8:30 a.m  A FREE sunrise Yoga class is also available at the park @ 7:30 am 

 DISC GOLF TOURNAMENT / 10:30 am Registration / 11:00 am Play Begins / Sunrise Meadows Disc Golf Course 1200 W. 2500 S. FREE 

 Disc Golf Registration

The tournament begins at Sunrise Meadows, is single format play and is for everyone–regardless of experience. Discs can be provided if needed. Preregistration is preferred at www.infinitediscs.com. Expect great prizes and a raffle. Infinite Disc will give at least 2 discs to each Nibley City resident who registers and plays. An additional competitive tour- nament round will be played at the Ridgeline Disc Golf course following the rec tournament raffle. Disc Golf Registration

Wednesday  June 19

CHALK ART/ 6 pm / Nibley City Hall FREE
Bring your art skills and create a temporary, chalk masterpiece at Nibley City Hall. Enjoy a summer treat and get creative on the sidewalks outside city hall. This year’s prizes will be chosen through a drawing and all artists are eligible. Chalk is provided.

This year the Nibley Children’s Theatre follows a Human Prince & Princess as they embark on an amazing adventure in Of Friends & Foes & Elves & Trolls. They join forces with an Elvin Prince and Princess as they attempt to free their friends from a tribe of underground Trolls. Along the way they meet myriad amazing creatures, including trolls, wolf-dogs, cave bats, Luna moths, and a frightening Mountain Monster.

PARADE / 10:00 am / Heritage Elementary FREE  
See bands and floats and classic cars at Nibley’s Heritage Days parade. You’ll probably go home with a lot of candy too. The parade route starts at Heritage Elementary, goes to 1000 W. to 2600 S. to 800 W. to 3200 S. and ends at Heritage Elementary. Part of 3200 S. will be closed to facilitate drop-off and pick up for parade participants. (Parking at the church on 3200 S. is recommended for parade participants.) Parade Application (Due by 5pm June 14th)  Parade Route
Coloring Contest (enter to win a squirt gun and a FREE ride in the Parade!)
FAMILY FESTIVITIES / 11:00 am - 2:00 pm / Elkhorn Park FREE Activities 
Bring the whole family along and enjoy an afternoon of free interactive games and activities. Take a pony ride, play bubble soccer, Gaga, and join the Spikeball Tournament, or play games and activities pioneers played when the valley was settled. And, don’t forget our beard contest. Buy your lunch and a treat from delicious food vendors and shop at great boutique booths. PARTY IN THE PARK! / 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm / Anhder Park 294 W 3200 S.  FREE
 
NIBLEY HERITAGE SHOW 
A concert featuring local talent from Nibley, plus a surprise performer that will be revealed on Facebook during Heritage Week. Concessions will be available from our Nibley Youth Council.
  
Chomp and Chill 
Following the Heritage show. Enjoy a FREE ice cream (while it lasts) from Mayor Dustin and our City Council as you chill out with them and the rest of the community. Then chomp on some tasty fair food classics, available for purchase from food vendors. The pre-fireworks party continues with activities and competitions led by a DJ; including a hula hoop and stilt walking contest, the limbo, some fun line dances and even a couple of dance battles. All with fabulous prizes and lively music.
 
FIREWORKS /10:00 pm / Anhder Park 3200 S.  FREE
Our fireworks show gets bigger and better every year thanks to support from Malouf.

YOUTH DANCE  / After fireworks / Anhder Park 3200 S.  FREE  
The dance goes till 11:00 p.m. and is D.J.’d by Jivin’ Audio. Recommended for ages 14+. It’s gonna be LIT!
